Job description
On a production basis, performs light electronic and/or electromechanical assembly work of high complexity for lightning strips and suppressors, inspecting, measuring crimping, routing, layup and other related assembly operations required to manufacture product. Tasks may vary by department and customer specifications.
· Perform high skill level work with effective use and understanding of complex
· , drawings, final assembly instructions,
· , which may require excellent manual dexterity and use of wide variety of hand tools, special care in handling and soldering where access is somewhat difficult.
· Job typically involves a wide variety of operations

· May be responsible for final assembly or production build-up of complete units composed of complex sub-assemblies. Solder operations for lightning strip and suppressor assembly including but not limited to solder , splices and diodes onto terminal strips

· Perform identification and inspection process—
· Perform resistance checks and document readings
·
· May also perform some trouble shooting and rework of production items
·
·
· Make good judgment in planning work sequences and determining the workability of the completed items
· Verify completion of work and shop traveler sign off prior to continuing to next process
· Train on other operations/procedures as needed
· Other tasks may be assigned as necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Ability to use hand tools as listed (may vary by department): solder irons; retention tools; various measuring devices, various wrenches, pliers, crimpers and other hand tools, various gauges, fixtures and tools, carts, strippers, banding tools, cutters, hot tweezers, heat gun,

· Ability to use automatic test equipment
· Ability to effectively understand and complete assigned paperwork and shop travelers.
· Ability to effectively understand internal procedures and policies.
· Ability to follow through on verbal, written or diagram instructions
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions
· Work independently with minimum to no supervision
· Excellent hand eye coordination
· Must be safety oriented.
· Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
· Must be available to work OT as needed.

Pay: $18.29 per hour
