What you'll do
  • Develop new processes to meet capacity and quality demands. Clearly understand existing processes in order to provide support for maintenance, operations and customers
  • Utilize continuous improvement with Lean as the primary foundation of day to day activities
  • Work with teams to identify root cause and resolve manufacturing and quality problems
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through Qualification & Validation activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring rigor in Qualification, development of URS, planning and execution of Commissioning, Qualification, and acceptance activities.
  • Work directly with customers in presenting Qualification reports during customer audits
  • Work with multifunctional teams including the facilities and maintenance teams to implement changes within the PM and Metrology processes.
  • Work with Design and Automation Engineers to design safe, lean, repeatable processes
  • Project Management activities - completing projects on time and on budget
  • Coordinates projects and leads project teams
Who you are
  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical degree or 5 years' experience in Lean Operations and Engineering
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical and planning/organizing skills
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated program or project management skills and experience owning production processes
  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Kaizen, 3P, Lean Production, PDCA, 5S, and A3 Thinking
  • Solid working knowledge of cGMP and an understanding of biomanufacturing processes
