Position Summary

As the Marketing Automation Manager for Vaco's Global Marketing team, you will be required to oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content creation, and the dissemination of copy. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will also be required to collaborate with colleagues across departments and lines of business to understand their client and candidate target audiences fully.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day management and administration of the company's marketing automation software (HubSpot) with a focus on maintaining data integrity and alignment with our marketing technology roadmap
  • Synthesizing stakeholder requests and feedback to ensure scalable, efficient email marketing efforts that support global brand goals.
  • Conceptualizing marketing automation campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective clients and candidates.
  • Monitoring and optimizing campaigns to increase performance according to KPIs
  • Reporting on the success of campaigns
  • Reviewing campaigns to determine areas of strength and weakness, which could inform subsequent outputs.
  • Creating marketing emails and digital assets that are free from errors and meet brand specifications.
  • Collaborating with graphic designers, content writers, and other members of the marketing team to improve the appearance layout and voice of campaigns.
  • Conducting market research to better understand client and candidate behaviors.
  • Maintaining multiple databases of clients and candidates who have opted to receive our correspondence. Includes collaborating with global workforce to manage active lists, as well as providing consistent updates on email interactions and statuses per recipient.
  • Managing/Maintaining email subscription types and ensuring marketing opt-in compliance.
  • Prep, proof, and schedule multiple monthly newsletters, including those promoting upcoming events, service offerings, available resources, and more.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related field
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in enterprise marketing automation
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience with a marketing automation tool (specifically HubSpot)
  • Flexible work hours (may include non-business hours) in support of increased work volumes and to meet critical deadlines across multiple time zones.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, including MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • HubSpot experience strongly preferred.

Basic Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, and superior aptitude for organization and time management; able to manage a large ongoing volume of deliverables.
  • Self-motivated with an adaptable, positive attitude; able to function effectively in a fast-paced, high intensity, deadline-driven environment.
