Part-Time Math & Reading Grader/Assistant/Teacher - Prosper, TX

This is a part-time after school tutor job.

We are the world's most successful after-school academic enrichment/tutoring program and are looking for super enthusiastic teacher that are excited about helping children succeed in academics and beyond!

QUALIFICATIONS (include but not limited to):

• A strong academic background in Math & English
• Have strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication skills and be very patient
• Be enthusiastic and able to motivate young students
• A passion for working with children of all ages
• Must be responsible, caring, and respectful towards everyone
• A willingness to continually learn about the Kumon method

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

• Assist students using the Kumon Method of Instruction
• Grading work with speed and accuracy is a MUST
• Grade workbook assignments
• Keep records of student progress
• Provide encouragement and guidance to students building skills using workbook materials
• Tutor students from elementary to high school level math and reading concepts
• Mentor students through challenges with a focus on a growth mindset
• Guide students through the curriculum to achieve success through milestones
• Work well in a team setting through excellent communication and high work ethic
• Effectively communicate with parents and staff about work related issues
• Consistently focus on the growth of our students and the quality of business operations

Candidates will be fully trained.

The position is for two days per week. Candidate must be available year-round on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00-7:00 PM. This is NOT summer only Job.
