This position is responsible for all technical aspects of process innovation projects from the point of research to full production capability including all milestones, process development and performance specifications, project budget and schedule.

Berry Global is seeking a highly motivated and organized Manufacturing Teams Manager to oversee the performance and productivity of various teams within our manufacturing sites. The Manufacturing Teams Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all teams, including but not limited to safety, quality, and process improvement, achieve their objectives in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team environment within Berry Global plants.
  • Collaborate with department heads and team members to establish and maintain clear goals and objectives for each team.
  • Schedule and coordinate regular team meetings to ensure attendance by all necessary parties.
  • Facilitate productive and focused discussions during team meetings to ensure the team's goals are being met.
  • Work with team members to identify and resolve issues or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Ensure that team structure and goals are established in a way that fosters the growth and development of its various members.
  • Build cross-functional teams to support Berry initiatives and promote collaboration across departments.
  • Ensure that the teams continuously improves processes and procedures to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on team progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate and with team members both in office and plant floor settings.
  • Develop and nurture Customer Focused Teams aimed at providing exceptional service to our customers, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork among all members.
  • Establish processes to verify plans, tasks, and communication are effective within all levels of the organization down to front line employees.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadership and employees.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies including 5S principles/implementation is a plus.
