Salary: $24.16 to $25.59 according to the Mechanic Work Agreement

Supervisor of Position: Transportation Program Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles and identify signs of wear and parts that require service or replacement.
Maintain fleet in accordance with State of Minnesota guidelines.
Repair or schedule necessary service work with the Lead Mechanic.
Track service performed on all vehicles.
Maintains bus and shop cleanliness.
Work collaboratively transportation team to provide safe transportation of students.
Possess or have the ability to obtain school bus driver’s license and driving is a requirement of the position.
Class B license with air brake endorsement.
DOT certified truck inspector.

Knowledge:
Tools, lubricants, equipment, inspection/troubleshooting, overhaul, repair and adjustment of powered equipment and of fuel, ignition, electrical, cooling, and braking systems.
ASE certification preferred.

Full Time Position 1:30 PM to 11:00 PM Monday - Thursday and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Fridays
