Job description

Certified Medical Assistant for an Englewood medical practice. We are seeking a candidate who is a team player and who practices a healthy lifestyle, is friendly, energetic, and detail oriented.

The candidate must deliver high quality customer service.

In addition to responsibilities described below, you will enter patient medical histories into the electronic medical record (EMR), greet patients, answer phones, and make appointments. You will make sure the exam rooms are properly sanitized and cleaned after each patient, that appropriate supplies are on hand, as well as other duties as assigned.

Days and hours: Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday 9-6, Thursday 9-6, Friday 9-5 (May make some RPM calls from home)

Responsibilities and required skills:
-Phlebotomy skills, COVID-19 nasal swabs, taking and recording all vital signs
-Perform EKG's and spirometry
-Administer IV therapies, allergy injections and vaccinations
-Complete electronic data collection and data entry into the EMR

In addition, candidates must have:
-Graduated from an accredited allied health school
-CMA certification
-Experience using the EMR
-Organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
-Computer skills

Administrative Duties:

  • Scheduling
  • Answering phones
  • Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) patient outreach (May make some calls from home)

Clinical Duties:

  • Administering injections
  • Performing EKGs
  • Administering medications

Supervisor:

  • Physician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
