Job Overview: Exciting Medical Assistant Opportunity at Pain Management & Surgery Practice

Join our reputable pain management and surgery practice located in Laguna Hills as a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant. Play a critical role in patient care by providing top-notch support to our healthcare providers and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. We are currently seeking to hire TWO (2) Medical Assistants. One position is based in Laguna Hills, and the other is based in both Anaheim (2 days a week) and Laguna Hills (3 days a week).

Job Highlights for our Medical Assistant:

• Location: Laguna Hills, CA
• Pay: $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Holidays

Responsibilities for our Medical Assistant:

• Greet and prepare patients for appointments, escort them to exam rooms, and ensure their comfort.
• Measure and record patient vital signs, chief complaints, and demographic information in EMR.
• Conduct initial screenings and assist physicians during procedures.
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.

Requirements for our Medical Assistant:

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (experience with Prior Authorizations, CURES, and CoverMyMeds preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), preferably NextGen
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
