Dermatology / Cosmetic Surgery Certified Medical Assistant

Laub Dermatology & Aesthetics:

Our office is located in the beautiful city of Mill Valley, CA. We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team of professionals.

Our office provides comprehensive, medical/surgical and cosmetic Dermatology. Laub Dermatology & Aesthetics works to help all patients receive the medical attention they need to prevent and treat skin illness and disease. Additionally, we offer cosmetic treatments to create healthy, glowing skin that helps our patient’s look and feel their best.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Assist providers
• Room patients, procedure set up, room set up and cleaning
• Patient history, chart documentation, counseling
• EMR experience, Electronic prescriptions, computer scheduling
• Day-to-day front and back office duties
• Light housekeeping and Stocking products
• Knowledge of Dermatology conditions & treatments
• Knowledge of Cosmetic procedures & outcomes including: Coolsculpting, Lasers, Thermage, Botox, facial fillers
• Skin care product experience
• Knowledge and use of Prescription medications
• Medical insurance knowledge

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of dermatology and cosmetic surgery front and back office experience
• Friendly personality that can connect with clients
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Comfortable working with providers, management, team members, and patients.
• Punctual & reliable team member

Additional benefits:

• 4 - 4 1/2 days per week full time (full benefits)
• OR if prefer part time 2-3 days per week (partial benefits)
• Quarterly bonus

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Dermatology: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
