Job Title: Medical Assistant - Dermatology Practice (Part-Time)

Are you a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant seeking an exciting opportunity in a Dermatology practice? Look no further! We are currently hiring for a part-time Medical Assistant position at our prestigious practice with offices in Carpinteria and Santa Barbara.

What our Medical Assistant position offers:

• Location: Travel between Santa Barbara and Carpinteria offices.
• Pay: $19-$22/hr.
• Type: Part-time
• Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays to start.
• Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, retirement plans, sick time, holiday pay, paid time off, etc.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist dermatologists with patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining medical history, and preparing examination rooms.
• Perform basic medical procedures, such as wound care, suture removal, and specimen collection.
• Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers.
• Conduct patient intake, including vital signs measurement and documenting medical information accurately.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.

Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
• Previous experience in a dermatology practice or similar medical setting preferred.
• Flexibility to travel between our Carpinteria and Santa Barbara offices.
