Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center is seeking a FULL-TIME entry level/intermediate billing specialist(s) for our OLNEY location. The Billing and Credentialing Specialist is responsible for submitting and following up on physical therapy claims to ALL major insurance companies and payers; such as Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and various other commercial insurance carriers. Candidate will be responsible for sending patient statements, posting payments/EOBs, and following-up on denied claims. In addition, the candidate is responsible for all medical credentialing

Job Location:

• Olney, MD 20832

Required education:

• Associates (Bachelors preferred)

Required experience:

• Medical Terminology: 1 year
• Medical Billing: 1 year
• EMR Theraoffice is a plus

Required language:

• English
• High proficiency phone etiquette is a MUST
