MCS, PC is seeking a dynamic, action-oriented physician leader to serve as Medical Director of Outpatient services.

The Medical Director will hire, train, and coach clinicians, partnering within a cross-functional team as we grow our outpatient practice, focused on measurement-based care, overall patient wellness, and holistic family support. The right leader will enjoy serving patients as well as leading a group of exceptional colleagues, leveraging their previous experience to ensure success in the role.

  • Board-certified psychiatrist with an active unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina (or eligibility for NC licensure) and willingness to be licensed in other states
  • Minimum of 5 years of substantial direct patient care
  • Clinical experience with SMI and SUD population
  • Experience leading other clinicians
  • Proficiency in implementing measurement-based care and continuous quality improvement initiatives in outpatient settings
  • Familiarity and comfort with value-based care, accreditation standards, monitoring and interpreting healthcare data at a practice level
  • Experience making staffing decisions within a profit & loss budgeting model
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite (calendar, docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
