Job description

Come and work for a busy podiatry office in Granada Hills, seeing an average of 25-30 patients a day. Must be able to travel between offices.

Responsibilities Include:

- Providing detailed documentation services using EMR system, on a computer and/or ipad in an accurate and timely manner

- Review previous charts and documents for insurance companies/provider as needed

- Submitting PR2 and Permanent and Stationary reports for Workers Compensation patients

- Ability to multi-task

- Ability to type efficiently and accurately

- Good grammar and spelling is a MUST

- Good attendance is an important element of this job

- Good judgment, organizational ability, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to be self-motivated are especially important.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical scribe required

- Experience with EMR (preferably EClinical Works) is preferred

- Reliable transportation as you will travel between offices as needed

- Good overall disposition and a positive attitude

- Prior anatomy or medical terminology knowledge is a plus, but not required

- Spanish speaking is a plus

- Ability to work overtime if necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
