JOB TITLE: Membership Sales Associate – Full Time

LOCATION: Omaha, NE

REPORTS TO: The Membership Sales Associate will report to the Membership Manager


Position Summary:

The Membership Sales Associate will primarily focus on member acquisition and retention. They will be responsible for greeting customers, promoting 88 Tactical’s various levels of membership, and giving tours of the facility. The Membership Sales Associate may also attend networking and/or trade show events as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting sales goals and generating leads through prospect, networking, and member referrals
  • Serve as a point of contact for any and all 88 Tactical Members
  • Provide information about each level of membership and the corresponding benefits to customers/prospective members
  • Leverage new and existing relationships to maximize member referrals
  • Attend meetings to strategize and go over the company’s membership goals
  • Constantly greeting active and prospective members as they enter the building.
  • Actively developing relationships with customers and current members.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact, tour guide, and membership educator for membership inquiries.
  • Consistently following up on leads to pursue membership sales.
  • Utilizing waiver and survey data to create leads.
  • Assisting operations staff with checking in and out customers, class sign-ups, and safety waiver completions.
  • Performing assigned tasks for special events.
  • Performing closing duties when working the night shift.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Above-average communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals
  • Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
  • Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs
  • Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection

Compensation:

Hourly

  • Competitive based on experience + Commission
