The Greater Waco YMCA is accepting applications for an energetic, dependable and articulate individual to work part time as a Membership Service Representative in our fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

We are offering a $250 bonus for new employees!

Essential Functions:

• The Membership Service Representative delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants contributing to member retention
• Answering phones in a professional manner
• General data entry and clerical functions
• Responsible for monies received during shift and ensures that transactions are accurately recorded
• Completes End of Shift process reconciling cash, check, and credit transactions to balance the shift report
• Conduct facility tours responsive to the needs of prospective members; while promoting membership at the Y
• Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and the YMCA

Qualifications:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent knowledge of computers and office software are essential
• Cash handling experience is preferred
• Previous customer service, sales or related experience desired
• Must be able to multi-task efficiently and work effectively under pressure
• Candidates must be punctual, reliable and available to work their assigned shift
• Be willing and able to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Must have a neat appearance and be well-groomed
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic
  segments of the community in a respectful manner
• Ability to maintain a calm, professional presence when handling stressful or difficult situations
• CPR/ First Aid Certification required within 30 days of hire
• Be able to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender check

Pay Rate: $11.00 to $13.00/hour
