We take a fresh, no bullsh!t approach to helping others through individual, family, and group therapy services, assessments, and other unique therapy modalities. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
- Provide services like individual, group, and/or family therapy
- Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
- Provide great customer service by working at least 1 weeknight and/or Saturday or Sunday
- Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
- Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)
- Must have a master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university
- Candidates must have NYS clinical licensure (LMSW, LCSW)
- Experience with completing evaluations, treatment plans and clinical case notes
- Passion for topics such as, but not limited to:
- Trauma focuses (i.e. EMDR)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- BIPOC population
- Humanistic therapy (strength-based, individualized, client-focused)
- Gender identity and sexual orientation
- Play therapy, art therapy, musical therapy
- PTSD
- Group therapy
- Couples therapy
- Psychotherapy
- Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant)
- Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels
- Flexible hours (you control your schedule – ya know, the way it should be!)
