SUBJECT:Middle School Career Connection Steering Committee
Funds are available to support the formation of a steering committee for the school year 2023 focused on planning instructional options for students in grades 6 and 7 regarding career planning and access. This position is available through grant funding from MASS DESE Fund Code 424.
Qualifications
?Brockton Public School Middle School faculty/administrator.
?Familiarity with middle school schedules
?Familiarity with state initiatives included but not limited to MYCAP.
Duties and Responsibilities:
?Attend regular meetings.
?Work independently and in group settings
?Review program offerings and compare with current trends/job outlook to generate viable career pathways for students leading to certifications, articulations, Dual Enrollment, internships/work experience and/or employment.
CQMPENSATJQN:Contractual Rate (Up to 20 hours per participant)
FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funded (FY 23)
