With a full array of product offerings and unparalleled service packages we can provide Motive Power solutions for many different applications.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Exemplify the Company's core values. Committed to safety in everyday work practices and promotes a Safety-First culture via leading by example.
- Achieve Departmental financial objectives for profit performance; assist with developing and monitoring budgets.
- Ensure the maintenance of fiscal reporting procedures within the Department are in full compliance with established company policies including accounts receivable, inventory reports, monthly forecasts and related score cards.
- Provide leadership for the Department to ensure a positive customer experience, to include building and maintaining customer relationships
- Assess talent at all levels within the Department; provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to develop the best talent in the industry
- Recruit, interview and take ownership within location of all hiring decisions to ensure only top diversified talent is on-boarded within the Department.
- Promote positive employee relations including fostering high team morale, upholding operational standards, and execution of the performance management process to include termination of employment.
- Manage Personnel Budget, productivity and staffing against established performance standards and objectives to ensure location is on target with business plan.
- Ensure execution of monthly expectations and standards, strategies and action items, to include safety procedures.
- Manage all operational aspects and vendors who provide services for the care of the facility, and outside services to our customers.
- Work with cross functional partners (Human Resources, Finance, Technology, etc.) to ensure assigned location is in alignment with the Organization in all process and direction.
- Ensure Federal/State Law safety requirements are established within the department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic Knowledge and Competencies:
- Excellent customer service, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding leadership and people development skills
- Strong financial acumen, including cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision-making and quantitative analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and department focus accordingly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel, including the ability to navigate and learn other business software.
Previous Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Knowledge of revenue generation to include the ability to analyze income statements and take appropriate action
- Analytical decision-making preferred
