Who are you? We are Golden Acorn Music. Founded in 2016, we specialize in bringing high-quality music programs to Bay Area preschools and libraries.

What do you do? Everyone at our company combines their individual flair with our shared methods, delivering excellent music classes to families and schools. In this role, you will drive to schools around Sunnyvale and Mountain View, delivering our weekly curriculum directly to children and teachers. We help young and old engage musically with themselves and each other, and further integrate music into their lives.

Ok. What will I be doing? As a teacher with us, it all comes down to you: From the moment you enter a class to the moment you leave, you are on the floor. You'll spend most of your focus and energy where it matters most—on the children—but you'll also be expected to communicate with the adults in the school, on such topics as class goals and scheduling.

The Schedule: Scheduling is up to you! You ultimately control when and how much you work. For this position, we have part-time work available (it's flexible — up to a few days or mornings per week).

We're looking for someone with a confident singing voice, experience working with groups of young children, and a deep appreciation of the wonder of childhood.

Morning classes tend to fall between 9-12, and afternoons between 2:30-5. (Weekend and evening work is practically nonexistent.)

Applicants should have:

• Confidence in singing, especially in front of a group
• Experience working with children (ideally groups) ages 0-6
• A passion for education, especially in music
• Ability to drive between locations in Mountain View
• Ability to play an instrument (preferred, not required)
