Network Firewall Engineer, Full-Time, Remote
Job description
Position Responsibilities
Design and implement firewall policies to secure the organization's network and protect against external and internal threats.
Configure and manage firewalls, including next-generation firewalls and network access control (NAC) systems.
Design, maintain, update, and document VPN connectivity to partners and outside vendors.
Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and resolve security incidents.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure firewall policies align with overall security strategies.
Stay up to date with the latest firewall technologies and security trends to recommend and implement updates as necessary.
Provide technical support to other teams and troubleshoot firewall-related issues.
Develop and maintain firewall documentation, including firewall rules and network diagrams
Troubleshoot & Fix day to day Network Issues related to Security Policies, Routing & Operations of Firewall
Position Experience Required
Strong understanding of firewall technologies, security protocols, and network security.
5+ years of experience as a Network Security (Or Firewall) engineer with direct hands-on experience.
Hands-on, verifiable, experience with firewalls, such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Licenses & Certifications
CCNP and/or CompTIA Security+ preferred.
