Job Title: Night Auditor

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions, as well as providing exceptional guest services during the overnight shift. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the Bavarian Lodge and ensuring guest satisfaction. This is an overnight position and scheduled shifts are from 11:00pm to 7:00am.

Responsibilities:

• Verify, audit, and balance all daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash, credit card payments, and other revenue.
• Prepare and distribute various financial reports, such as daily revenue report, guest ledger, and credit card reports.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
• Assist with making reservations and handling special requests.
• Perform basic administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Maintain the safety and security of the hotel during the overnight shift.
• Communicate any issues, concerns, or discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel software systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly wage ranging between $17.00 - $18.50 per hour, based on experience.
