EQUINOX COUNSELING AND WELLNESS CENTER is an intensive out-patient treatment facility providing expert treatment services for youth and young adults with special needs who are struggling with complex psychiatric, emotional and behavioral health issues. As a result, our clients have experienced pro-longed trauma, attachment challenges, depression, anxiety, obsessive fixations, as well as social and learning differences. Equinox not only treats the client but their family system as well and is focused on family level healing. Equinox is the only program of its kind due to the specific manner in which we have combined the very best elements of residential treatment, wilderness therapy and IOP level of care.

We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented Receptionist/Office Assistant that has a passion for providing service excellence for clients, supporting a great team, and embraces growth and change.

Receptionist/Office Assistant Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years experience in office management with experience in mental/behavioral health industry a plus.
  • Organized and able to manage complex scheduling with layers of details and many people to coordinate with.
  • A predilection toward hospitality, and an interest in taking care of people.
  • Ability to self-direct, solve problems, and discern when to escalate issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills paired with a friendly and proactive attitude
  • Proficient in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work on occasional weekends or evenings
  • Pass drug test and background check
  • Must have valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

Reception:

· Greet all visitors, clients and staff. Acts as first impression for Equinox.

· COVID-19 Screening of clients and visitors

· Assist with COVID-19 Cleaning Protocols and Procedures

· Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and return voicemail messages.

· Notifies staff when clients/families arrive.

Office Assistance:

· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.

· Handle incoming and outgoing facsimiles.

· Manage scanning and filing procedures (electronic and paper).

· Track and order office supplies.

· Provide support and knowledge for trouble shooting office equipment and computer programs.

· Interface with IT Support to resolve computer, printer, telephone and copier issues.

· Interface with Building Management to resolve facility needs.

· Send the (CCP) building paperwork to new employees.

· Send the new employees the Equinox Handbook and receive the acknowledgement page.

· Provide meeting support by organizing meeting spaces, follow-up calls, and food and supply orders, ensuring all needs are arranged.

· Provide support for the leadership team as needed.

· Take and distribute meeting notes.

· Plan and support occasional social and professional events in the office.

· Maintain cleanliness of reception area, staff locker room, storage closet, and family consultation room.

· Schedule and manage travel arrangements for staff.

· Provide support to the CEO as needed.

· Misc. errands as necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
