The Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) is recruiting for a full-time Office Specialist 1- Screener join our team at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Veterans Home in Post Falls.

This position plays a crucial role screening staff at the Post Falls Veterans Home before they enter the building. Other duties may entail performing routine office support duties which require knowledge of office policies and procedures and related work.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in data entry in Microsoft programs, have excellent organizational and communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and an ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic.

Example of Duties

Example of Duties:


  • Monitor staff at Screening Kiosks
  • Ensure that Screening Kiosks are fully functioning
  • Sanitize Kiosk "Pens" after use
  • Disinfect high touch points and frequently used areas
  • Restock Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) closet
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:


  • Some knowledge of filing
  • Some knowledge of basic math
  • Experience checking, proofing, sorting, or coding information documents
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of the rules of effective business English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Experience storing, retrieving and compiling information in report format
  • Experience working with sensitive or restricted data
