About Our Job
The City and County of Denver utilizes a hybrid model workplace that balances the responsibilities of public service with the benefits of a flexible work environment. Employees work where needed, at a city site and/or in the field at least two days a week and telecommute remotely at a designated workplace within the State of Colorado the remaining days.

The City and County of Denver’s Safety Human Resources team is excited to hire an HR Tech II that will be aligned to our Onboarding team. This individual will serve as a liaison and support to candidates making the transition to become an employee of one of our Safety Agencies. As this role will have a high-level of contact with future employees, we are looking for someone with strong communication skills to help provide a positive experience.
In this role you will be expected to:
- Access information to resolve problems and provide guidance to those requesting Information.
- Be discreet, relate to others with respect, and maintain confidentiality
- Be able to present information in a clear, concise, and effective manner
- Draft documents from templates
- Support our client agencies, candidates, and stakeholders
- Have strong organizational skills
- Be innovative
About You
Our ideal candidate for this position will successfully demonstrate the following:
- Ability to Self-direct and work independently
- Ability to be detailed oriented and focused on accuracy
- Skill at finding quick and efficient solutions
- Focus on customer service
- Problem solving ability with exemplary attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with excel, outlook, and word.
- Knowledge of Workday Preferred.
- Previous experience in new employee onboarding preferred
