Summary: The Manager of Operations coordinates with the Director of Operations to manage the daily operations of programs, support the development and growth of new and existing programs, and ensures continuity and adherence of policies and procedures, quality standards, patient care and services, public relations, employee relations, fiscal responsibility, and clinical and regulatory compliance. The Manager of Operations will oversee responsibilities for both our Hinsdale and Skokie, IL outpatient clinics.
Job Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Director of Operations develops long-term and short-term objectives for the clinic
- Assists with analysis of monthly operational review of financial performance
- Assures regulatory compliance with Federal, State, and local standards to ensure patient safety
- Ensures Joint Commission readiness at sites
- Act as patient advocate and to respond to patient grievances
- Participate in resource evaluation
- Effectively hire and train employees
- Promote a team environment
- Annually, and as needed, the Operations Manager evaluates the objectives for applicable programming based on new market or regulatory information and assists, through the planning process, in planning for response to changing market needs or regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Health Care Administration, or related field is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Applicable license/certification in area of focus is preferred
- Previous supervisory/management experience is required
- Knowledge of healthcare agency regulations; such as Joint Commission, State and Federal
- Effective at developing and engaging teams
- Proficient with Microsoft Products(Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screen
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
