We are looking for an aspiring Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to sell and service eyeglasses with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Primary responsibilities include assisting and educating patients with the selection of eyeglass frames, lenses and lens enhancements, placing orders to maintain inventory, dispensing, lab finishing, and repairs and adjustments of eyeglasses.

Candidate must be friendly, outgoing, reliable, hard-working and serious about long-term employment and commitment. Individual must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment with capability to meet deadlines. This office is centered around fantastic patient care and great customer service is required of every employee. Bilingual is a plus!

• Must have exceptional people skills and a friendly, caring, and outgoing personality to interact with patients in order to maintain, and enhance patient relationships
• Highly organized and able to assist multiple clients
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work both as a team and independently
• Strong sales ability - Effectively handle price objections and close the sale
• Must be up-to date with latest fashion in eyewear
• Secure small and large transactions with equal ease
• Motivated, goal oriented, and persistent
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
• Must have an understanding of common eye diseases and conditions
• Must also be very comfortable with computer use
• Bilingual is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
