Job description

We are a busy optometry practice in Gilbert, Arizona. We are looking for an Optometric Assistant/Technician that is motivated, friendly and has a good work ethic. We like to have our staff cross-trained in all areas to make the patient experience a positive one. Pay rate commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be reliable and punctual with excellent attendance
• Have strong customer service and communication skills
• Be a team player
• Be friendly and upbeat
• Be able to excel in a busy environment
• Have strong multi-tasking and time management skills
• Be self-motivated
• Be detail oriented

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Being able to navigate electronic medical records
• Create contact lens orders
• Pre-testing patients
• Contact lens trainings
• Contact lens orders
• Retinal photography

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)
• Ophthalmic Technicians & Assistants: 1 year (Preferred)
