Responsibilities and Duties for our Orthodontic Assistants
Our Orthodontic Assistants complete a rigorous in-office training program provided by Cardinal Orthodontics. This training provides them with the knowledge and hand skills needed to work directly on patient’s braces and assist patients with their Invisalign treatments so that all patients receive the highest level of on time service.
Orthodontic Assistants are trained to take x-rays, digital photos, impressions and fit appliances for patients, They receive Sterilization Tech training on all lab duties such as pouring up models, making retainers and procedures needed to maintain a safe and healthy space for patients and teammates including properly packaging, sterilizing instruments and preparing and disinfecting treatment bays.
Cardinal Orthodontics provides and requires all team members in all positions to use all recommended Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all CDC recommendations required for Dental offices.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in an orthodontic or dental office is greatly valued but prior experience is not required. Wage ranges adjust for those with previous dental and orthodontic experience. We are open to training a great person with or without experience that is willing to work hard and be on the go constantly during busy patient days in our Rock Hill and Ballwin office locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
