Job Description:

*Candidate must be local to the greater Philadelphia region and willing to meet in person periodically.

Responsibilities:

Support responsibilities of Senior Manager, Technology and Industry intelligence in projects related to packaging technology, sustainability and industry activity by participating in one or more of the following areas.

• Participating in Client’s Net Zero program by managing idea lists, contributing to analyzing opportunities, coordinating Life Cycle Assessments and supporting projects.
• Administrate the Compendial Standards program, facilitating standards reviews and communicating updates to Client’s manufacturing network.
• Contribute to Next Generation innovation projects by supporting projects teams with coordinating testing.
• Support nitrosamines program with report reviews and program documentation.

Experience:

• cGMP
• Exposure to sustainability, decarbonization and circularity preferred.
• Experience with common primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials (i.e. glass, plastic, paper, etc)
• Must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills required.
• Ability and flexibility to work globally in a virtual work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks over the course of a normal work day
• Ability to manage complex spreadsheets
• Demonstrated ability to solely represent project teams in internal or external meetings is preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering or Sciences field – Required
• 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical packaging development/engineering preferred

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
