Located in beautiful Solana Beach, The Law Firm of Phillips and Pelly (www.sdinjury.com) is one of San Diego's longest standing and most respected Personal Injury law firms. JOB WILL BE HYBRID WORK FROM HOME AND IN OFFICE, ONCE TRAINED, BUT YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN OUR SOLANA BEACH OFFICE DURING TRAINING AND 2 DAYS A WEEK, IN OFFICE, ONCE FULLY TRAINED, THEN EVERY OTHER WEEK 3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE, FOR APPROX 10 DAYS A MONTH IN OFFICE.

Our fast-paced firm is seeking an experienced, super smart, highly motivated full-time PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL with a bright and positive spirit to join our team of professionals.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years Paralegal work history, specifically in the field of Personal Injury. ***Salary $80-97K plus Depending Upon Experience / Healthcare / 401K/ PTO ***

EXPERIENCED LITIGATION SUPPORT GOES TO FRONT OF THE LINE.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Write Discovery and prepare Demands and Mediation Briefs.

- Prepare, Notice and serve Depositions Notices, and Subpoenas (and experienced in Pre-trial doc preparation is a +++)

- Experienced and proficient in pre-trial procedure.

- Greet new clients in-person and answer incoming calls professionally.

- Screen potential new cases, set up electronic files, order medical records

- Work directly with firm designated cloud-based CMS (Case Management Software) and DocuSign.

- Write and send letters, make and confirm client appointments

- Confirm client medical bills

- Prepare file accounting, faxing, scanning, calendaring for Partners

- Friendly, professional, very helpful and courteous personality.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

- A minimum 5-years previous Paralegal employment, specifically in Personal Injury Or very closely related field.

- Paralegal degree

- Strong written and verbal skills.

- Highly detail oriented. Produce clean, accurate, high-quality work product.

- Solid work history in a professional law office environment.

- Must be neat, polished and dress professionally

- Meet given deadlines

- Arrive at scheduled hours promptly

- Positive and motivated energy

- Must have strong computer skills. Our Firm's workload is managed utilizing cloud-based legal software.
