The Opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is hiring a part-time Administrative Coordinator. As part of our Global Campus, the Administrative Coordinator will represent our Academics team in performing a variety of responsibilities to support the Administrative Director and Administrative Manager. Attendance, punctuality, and presence are essential functions of this role, along with a commitment to SNHU shared goals and core values. You will report to the Administrative Director for our Global Campus Academics team. You will have the opportunity to work onsite or remote, depending on location.
In this Role You'll Get To:
- Be a member of the Employee Appreciation Team along with Administrative Manager;
- Meet monthly and help plan birthday and anniversary events, game days and holiday receptions
- Order materials and assist with set up and clean up
- Support team-level, inter-departmental communications including Global Campus Update, Academic All-Hands, and Roundtables
- Help facilitate the Communication Working Group
- Maintain calendar for team events
- Create physical and digital boards for keeping team members aware of priorities and projects
- Support team with creating regular reports
- Assist the Administrative Director and Manager with booking conference rooms for teams
- Order/receive food orders for full day meetings/trainings from approved vendors and keep track of receipts and cost centers for finance allocation
- Perform other responsibilities or activities that may be assigned at any time with or without notice, to support the Sr. Vice President and Administrative Director
What we're Looking For:
- Minimum of 4 years of relatable office experience with an emphasis on communication and team engagement
- Experience with a variety of systems and office equipment
- Excellent typing skills with great attention to work details
- Positivity within a team environment while respecting the needs and opinions of others
