Front desk Receptionist Responsibilities Genesa Home Healthcare & Companion Agency is looking for a friendly and energetic receptionist to join our Agency and become a valued member of our team. Candidate must have good communication skills and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Must have the ability to multitask, take initiative to complete job duties in a timely manner, and be responsible. The receptionist is responsible for a variety of clerical duties and other related or miscellaneous tasks to ensure quality care to our client. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma/GED or Associate degree required. • 2 years of office administrative experience • Ability to type 40 correct words per minute. • At least 2 years of computer and office equipment experience including MS Office products (Word, Excel), e-mail and automated billing systems, facsimile machines, calculator, copiers, etc. • Job Type: Full-time SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Demonstrated problem-solving skills required. • Ability to make quality, independent decisions required. • Ability to listen to others required. • Demonstrated written communication skills required. • Strong verbal communication and listening skills required. • Effective interpersonal skills required. • Ability to work as part of a team required. • Knowledge of medical terminology required. • Service-oriented required. • Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills required. • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion required. • Self-directed required. • Excellent organizational skills required. • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities required. • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required. • Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems required. • Professionally answering phone calls and answering questions when received • Helping to schedule client assessment and ensuring creation of new client folder as well • Working with the clients and insurance companies to ensure coverage • Providing administrative support by scanning and filing client documents thereby ensuring complete and accurate information as per policy • Ensuring that all tasks are completed on time • Dependable and upbeat person

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.20 - $17.00 per hour
