The City of Webster Groves is accepting applications for a Women’s Empowerment Coordinator. The purpose of this temporary position is to develop and coordinate a 3-part webinar speaker series focused on women residing in Webster Groves. Speakers will focus on building entrepreneurial, civic engagement, and confidence. The position is funded through a grant from the National League of Cities as part of the Leadership Diversity (UnitedWE).

Job Responsibilities include researching and recommending speakers, promoting the webinar series, handling webinar logistics, participant registration and to create the application submission and review process.

The successful applicant will have great people skills, will be organized with strong time-maintenance skills, and be self-motivated.

Required:

· Self-guided and energetic

· Strong communication skills

· Strategic thinking skills

· Strong organization skills

· Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically SharePoint and other basic communication tools.

· Team player

· Working knowledge of digital media

Salary is $20.00 per hour and is limited to 15 hours per week with no benefits. The position will not extend beyond August 31, 2023
