Applicants should be extremely organized, compassionate, possess excellent communication skills, and have some background in medical or mental health office work. $15 - $20 hourly

• Answering all incoming client calls with compassion
• Carefully schedule clients with the appropriate clinician within a reasonable timeframe
• Maintain Lakeside's incoming call spreadsheet, including tracking referrals
• Confirm insurance eligibility for patients
• Communicate regularly with clinical staff regarding new appointments, benefit checks, and their availability
• Provide appropriate referrals to the community when we do not fit client needs or cannot accommodate them
• Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Lakeside
• Check new client files to ensure all intake paperwork is uploaded into the electronic health record
• Collect payments from patients for services

• History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized
• Technologically savvy; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs and filing systems with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues
• Prior experience with client intakes preferred
• Display excellent written, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills
