Lindsay Windows is looking to add a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to the team to help with daily financial operations and payroll tasks. This team works with multiple production facilities across the US from our home base in North Mankato, MN. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be team oriented.

- Manage payment schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to develop financial reports.
- Prepare monthly financial reports.
- Monitor for accounting irregularities and providing solutions.
- Reconciles cash accounts daily as well as balance sheet accounts.
- Receive and account for payment transactions.
- Responds to inquiries; checks accounting transactions to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare sales tax returns on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Ensuring that employees receive correct compensation as scheduled
- Prepare and process bi-weekly, or special payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect, verify, and record employee pay changes, deductions, and garnishments.
- Handle employee interaction about payroll and resolve discrepancies.
- Submit all payroll related deductions and billing to the proper entity, such as 401(k) provider, benefits providers, and individual state entities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, including remittance of payroll taxes.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years’ experience in an accounting position
