Payroll Practitioner - part-time

The Payroll Practitioner will assist the team in taking the payroll division to the next level. This role will provide efficient, top quality payroll services to our business customers. The payroll division is an extension of our customers businesses to allow them to focus on it strategic operations.

Essential Functions
- Manages designated payroll accounts, collect timesheets/hours and ensure processing in a timely manner
- Understands and be able to calculate payable hours, salaries, commissions, bonuses, taxes and deductions
- Processes new employees, promotions, raises and terminations
- Finalizes payroll and deliver reports and paychecks/paystubs to customers via mail, secure email and priority mail
- Processes and pay taxes for construction business customers only
- Answers customer questions and inquiries via telephone and email
- Confirms, prints and mails monthly, quarterly and annual customer tax filings
- Processes ACH files

- Ability to identify opportunity to educate customers of more products and services that may fit their needs (cross promotion)
- Strong communication skills
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College preferred
- 2-3 years payroll processing experience required
