We are in need of a Facility Van Driver for evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:

• Driving van to transport residents to and from appointments.
• follows transport policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of residents at all times.
• Maintains accurate documentation on daily transport log.
• Performs daily maintenance checks of vehicles, including brakes, tires, exhaust, and suspension. Maintains logs of these checks.
• Ensure proper use of seatbelts and locking of wheelchairs when the van is in use.
• Attend all required in-services.
• Actively participate in teamwork, individualized care, respect, and professionalism.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm and general interest in work.
• Able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 45 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Driving van to transport agency staff to and from designated areas.

Requirements

• NY State Driver's license with excellent driving record.
• Patience and desire to work with nursing home residents.
• Received the COVID-19 vaccination a must
