Job description
- Position: Pharmacist *PRN* - (PharmD /RPh)
- Business Hours: Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 11:00am, Saturday: 6:00am - 8:00am
- Schedule: *Varies, PRN staff typically provide rotating coverage on Saturdays and throughout the week for the Pharmacist in Charge at the clinic, when needed.
- Pay: $60.00 / hour
- Hiring Location: Sumter, SC
Duties:
- Treatment Specialists provide comprehensive services to assist individuals who are dealing with opiate addiction or dependency.
- We combine counseling with medications to optimize success in treatment.
Position Summary:
- Maintain proper licensure to dispense narcotic treatment program medications pursuant to all regulatory bodies.
- Dispense the amounts of methadone and buprenorphine medication administered and shall record and countersign all changes in dosing schedules.
- Provide in-service training on pharmacology and methadone and will actively participate in all medical meetings.
- Provide respectful and confidential delivery of services, including education, quality care, instruction and information to all clients, with positive regard.
- Follow and adhere to all clinic policy and procedures and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
- Provide assistance in community education.
- Maintain daily and monthly, bi-annual and annual inventory schedules as dictated in accordance with all regulatory bodies.
