Job Purpose
As a Physical Materials Analysis you will support both the Surface/failure and ISO/IEC 17025 Automotive Science Corrosion Laboratories. This position will also perform laboratory procedures for testing and reporting of results, using and maintaining specialized equipment within the Laboratory.

Job Responsibilities
- The processing of customer samples to support all of the commercial efforts to maintain, grow, or the capture new business in the Americas.
- This includes the direct commercial field team, distribution, OEM team, and Americas Marketing teams.
- Perform testing in accordance with established procedures
- Automotive Science Corrosion Laboratory
- ASTM, DIN, SAE, GMW, etc…
- Neutral Salt Spray (NSS)
- XRF Analysis
- Surface/Failure Laboratory
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS)
- Tensile and Elongation (T&E)
- Automotive Science Corrosion Laboratory
- Writing of professional reports for customers
- Characterize, categorize and report daily status of in-process testing samples to supervisors.
- Pictures
- Support documentation
- Assist in the maintaining of records and laboratory ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
- Use and promote the Six Sigma methodology
- Attend required HSE training including Hazardous Waste Management, emergency response, and Hazard Communication, and demonstrate an acceptable level of understanding of topics.
