Job description

Full Time Physical Therapy Position for Outpatient, Orthopedic sports performance clinic.

• Able to work in an integrative practice with patients that are receiving other therapies: manipulative therapy, Dry Needling, IASTM, mobility work, sports performance, etc.
• Provides physical therapy in an outpatient physical therapy clinic while working well with ATC or PTA as a team while collaborating well with other therapists in the outpatient clinic.
• Provides and directs physical therapy services to patients including: assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation for one-on-one patient care for one hour long appointments for 40 hours/week formatted as 4, 10 hour days.
• Able to include the following therapy plan: therapeutic exercises, proprioceptive training, neuromuscular reeducation, gait analysis and home exercise plan
• Document in electronic medical records efficiently
• Communicate with the clinical director regarding evaluations with progress notes including daily subjective, objectives, clinical goals and frequency of care when necessary
• Perform comprehensive, caring evaluations on new patients, establish achievable goals and develop actionable treatment plans
• Identify a patient's needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy tailored to individual patient differences
• Take ownership of obtaining necessary additional information and suggesting revisions in treatment as appropriate
• Document all evaluations, treatments and other pertinent patient interactions in accordance with company policy
• Skillfully and safely progress patients through their levels of treatment until successful completion of care and return fully to goals
• Actively pursue professional growth through affiliation with professional PT associations, workshop attendance and conferences
