Schedule: Full Time, Days - Mon & Wed 11am-8:30pm, Tues 8am-3:30pm, Thurs 8am-4:30pm & Fri 8am-12:30pm
Responsibilities
Under overall direction of the PM&R Manager and clinical supervision of the Lead Physical Therapist, the Staff PT examines and evaluates patients and administers physical therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician. Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adolescent, adult and geriatric age patients in an acute care or acute inpatient rehabilitation unit setting; may also include outpatient setting.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) required.
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy preferred. This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate degree for licensure.
- Over 1 to 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist required.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Physical Therapist, licensed upon hire, required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire required.
