Hartford Hospital Hospitalist Service

Our hospital provides an incredible impact to the healthcare of Connecticut's residents. In the Hospitalist service we work to lessen waiting in the emergency room, speed up diagnosis and treatments, reduce hospital stays while improving outcomes and continuity of care. Hospitalists provide support for Primary Care Physicians and rapid response to all hospitalized patients.

Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Physician Assistant

Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (APRN) and Physician Assistants will join a large, vibrant and growing Hospitalist Program. Our Nurse Practitioners (APRN) and Physician Assistants provide the full-spectrum of inpatient care, including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status. New and Experienced providers are met with a comprehensive orientation provided by our exceptional Physician and Advanced Practice Providers. Scheduling will be Nights, 7pm - 7am.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Physician Assistant Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner (APRN) positions require National certification in Advanced Practice, MSN, and current CT Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN) certification
• Physician Assistants (PA) positions require current CT Physician Assistants (PA) License and Board certification or eligible
• All disciplines require the demonstrated ability to positively interact with medical and nursing staff
• Critical Care experience preferred but not required
