Planner / Scheduler

The Planner / Scheduler will act as the liaison between Sales and Operations and will report directly to the Engineering Manager. Primary duties of this position are to coordinate new jobs within the Operations Department to ensure they meet the scope & scheduling requirements established by the Sales Department.
Duties:
· Be the “inbox” for new jobs that have been sold by the Sales Department.
· Identify & coordinate Project Managers based on availability and expertise.
· Identify & coordinate support staff based on availability and expertise.
· Identify & coordinate any special rental equipment needed for jobs.
· Identify & coordinate fleet vehicles needed for jobs.
· Identify & coordinate hotel rooms needed for jobs.
· Update Operations Department manpower calendar.
· Communicate scope/schedule changes when identified by the Sales Department.
· Contact clients to verify schedule.
· Participate in the weekly manpower conference calls.
Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience in job planning & scheduling of manpower in the engineering, construction, manufacturing, military, testing or inspection industries
· Team working environment (5-yrs minimum)
· Military experience is a plus
· Ability and willingness to provide excellent customer service

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
