Plant Maintenance Technician

S&W Ready Mix

S&W Ready Mix, Titan America is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Conway, South Carolina Operations. Occasional support of our other locations in may be required as well on an as-needed basis. The primary responsibility of this position is to repair and maintain machinery both electronic and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic systems, plumbing systems, conveyor systems, production machines and other plant equipment related to our concrete plant facilities.

· Ability to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

· Strong mechanical skills and the ability to problem solve.

· Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb to heights of at least 50 feet frequently.

· Working outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold and other outdoor environmental conditions, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.

· Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively.

· Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry a plus.

· Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair, certification preferred.

Required Experience:

· Previous experience doing preventative maintenance inspections and scheduling.

· Previous welding and fabrication experience.

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 2-5 years of relevant work experience.

· Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and OT.

· CDL Class A is preferred.

· Ability to work at heights, utilizing fall protection equipment/measures, as well as other required PPE.

· Ability to pass pre-employment processes including criminal background check, DOT physical and drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
