Job Description

• Perform maintenance and repairs to all plumbing equipment and systems.
• Measure, cut and thread pipe using various power tools
• Assemble various piping materials (copper, pvc, metal, cast) using various methods including soldering, brazing, chemical adhering
• Conduct building tours, maintain equipment loss, and report deficiencies for corrective action.
• Respond to all plumbing trouble calls and troubleshoot systems.
• Work with engineers, contractors and consultants in evaluating the proper operation of the building systems.
• Maintain a professional, safe and clean environment.
• Troubleshoot all plumbing equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain plumbing equipment on an ongoing basis as part of the facilities preventive maintenance program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, assisting other tradesmen, and emergency repairs.
• Adhere to established plumbing work order preventive maintenance schedule.
• Read and interpret blue prints, plans, work orders, and specifications.
• Completes work in accordance with C&W Services Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
  • Create and maintain all operational SOPs for site specific equipment and systems.

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):

• Graduate of a technical or trade school
• Minimum of three to five years field experience
• Education or training in plumbing

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 25lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally
• Climb and work off of ladders and aerial lifts safely
• Observant which requires seeing, hearing, and smelling
