Powder Coat Operator
Job description
Performs preparations for powder coating of parts by cleaning the paint booth every day before producing parts, selects the color to be used according to verbal or written instructions, physically removes paint from storage location by hand or with the help of co-workers and places it at the work area.
- Operate equipment and machines accordingly to specific operational and safety instructions.
- Spray powder onto parts using the right technique to assure an even and consistent thickness.
- Verbally communicates to manager or maintenance technician any machinery and equipment functional problems and notifies manager of any quality or production issues detected.
- Implements and maintains 5S practices in his/her work area including equipment according to company procedures.
- The Powder Coating Operator may be required to perform additional duties not specifically described herein.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
