Position Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for all activities related to ensuring the best quality of our products, including inspection, testing, troubleshooting, process improvement, and repair.
Role and Responsibilities
+ Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and quality
+ Maintain, test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
+ Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards
+ Report quality problems or concerns to senior management immediately
+ Meet required quality testing quotas and standards
+ Create an effective, efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines
+ Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice
Skills and Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Must be able to read and write in English
+ The ability to stand up for 8 to 10 hours a day, plus additional overtime as needed
+ Available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
+ Flexible work availability and able to work overtime as needed with same-day notice
+ The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
+ The ability to pass a drug test and background check
+ Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
+ 3 or more years of related/relevant work experience in quality
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
+ Need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
+ Proficient with the use of shop equipment including mills, lathes, grinders and welders
+ The ability to work with components that are in constant motion along an assembly line without adverse effects
+ The ability to work on a team of co-workers in close proximity to each other
+ The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other
+ Have a strong desire for personal and professional development
