More Than Q, the award winning BBQ company, is seeking a Prep Cook/Assistant Pitmaster for the Princeton, NJ. location.

MTQ was founded in 2014 by pitmaster Matt Martin, and is one of the East Coast’s top barbeque destinations, serving up delicious, smoked meats along with seasonal, southern sides. From brisket to smoked sausage, ribs, burnt end baked beans, collard greens, cheesy grits and more, our food is topped only by our outstanding customer service.

We are seeking a results-oriented individual who is ready to take on the responsibility of learning how to smoke meats for our expanding operation and, overall, help maintain our overall food quality and push the brand to the next level.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- An interest in learning about slow smoked BBQ...... We will take it from there.
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant cooking experience.
- Leadership abilities are a MUST. YOU WILL LEAD THE EVENING SHIFT.

- Ordering/inventory control experience
- ServSafe certified preferred
- Hardworking and result-oriented with a high level of attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability maintain a cohesive and focused team
- Open availability a must.
- Must be able to lift 75+ pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
