The Learning Experience at Tinton Falls is growing and has an opening available for a kitchen cook ( warming kitchen)with the ability to multi-task, cook and manage inventory.

We are looking for team-players and active communicators who are committed to delivering the best possible experience for both students and parents. Business hours are from 6:30AM-6:30PM and shifts typically run from 8AM-2PMwith the opportunity to pick up additional time supporting in the classroom and processing CACFP reports each month.

Responsibilities:

• Follow menu to make home-style, nutritional meal within school's budget, while meeting state and federal requirements.
• Ensure on time delivery of all meals
• Inventory maintenance (including FIFO rotation and food safety) and inventory/supply orders
• Will be working in a Warming Kitchen
• Fill-in as teacher support in classrooms as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Work experience with cooking and/or food preparation for a high volume of people, preferably in a childcare setting
• Open to spending time in classrooms as well
• Reliable transportation
• ServSafe Certification preferred
