Summary

Perform basic set-up and operation of CNC & Conventional Press Brakes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following:

• Operate CNC and conventional Press Brakes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Use shop equipment, overhead cranes, chains, slings, and forklifts in a safe manner.
• Communicate with co-workers & supervisors to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
• Keep production at a steady pace to meet delivery dates.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Keep workstation and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading knowledge.
• Experience with operating & doing basic set-ups of press brake equipment.
• Basic tooling and tolerance knowledge.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent to draw/interpret bar graphs.
